Upper South Carolina State Fair

We added this to the list of fall must dos last year. Craw had an absolute ball. We have figured out that if you go on a weeknight it is pretty empty. Craw was able to run on and off any ride he wanted to with an unlimited riding wrist band. He had the best time and Sutton was a doll. She just let us push her around and then as it got later I held her and she took in all the sights and sounds.

Craw discovered the really tall slide that you have get in a potato stack and ride down. He had us cracking up because he kept showing the worker his wrist band. Well that was fine one or two times but he must have gone down the slide 15 times and the guy clearly knew who he was but without fail Craw would pull up his sleeve and show the guy (who was clearly not amused) his wrist band.

This is Craw's smile when I said show me how happy you are here. He was sooo excited.

He loved the airplane ride below.

He took a spin on the tea cups and had them spinning all around.
This was his favorite ride last year (the train --shocker)
He liked it this year too but did move on to bigger and better rides.

They had a ride with all different kinds of automobiles--fire trucks, old fashion cars, etc and he loved trying them all out as they went around in a circle.

Sutton loves getting out and about and is always so happy (it's just the getting out aka the car that really limits us to going places)--don't let that smile fool you she screamed 20 min on the way there and 20 min back!

I wish I had a picture of Crawford on the roller coaster. He said he was brave and wanted to go on it. I was a little nervous because he was juuust tall enough to ride it...but he heads to the back of the coaster and hops in right next to an older man. It was meant to seat one person so I am sure the man did not expect to have a little 3 year old next to him but I thanked him and Craw went around and around and loved it!

Here he is at the bottom of the slide (his favorite)...he is so competitive. He kept trying to race all the people going down the slide (no one else was trying to race anyone). He even did a head dive off the slide to beat two large adults going down the slide. He ran off the slide saying "I won" and of course only Brad and I were paying attention to the race he created in his head.

Again this is now one of our favorite fall traditions. There is nothing better than to see the look of pure excitement and joy on your little one's face!
