Sutton 11 Months

Sutton,
You are just the sweetest! You are all about Mommy right now. If I am in the room you want me to be holding you. You will scream and cry if anyone else has you. The only other person you will go to is Nana and you will even reach for her if I have you. You also just love playing with your ears when you are tired and it is so so sweet!

11 Month Stats:
  • Weight:
  • Length:
  • Sleep: You sleep from 7-8 until 6:30-7. You are just an angel sleeper. We give you your last bottle and then we just lay you down and we never hear from you again until the morning.
  •  Naps: You nap at 9:45 until 11 and then from 1:30ish until 3.
  • You always have 4 bottles/sippy cups. You will drink milk out of either one just fine. You have about 5-6 ounces.
  •  You then eat a meal an hour after your bottle/sippy cup and then you usually have 2 more ounces of milk.
  • You will eat most anything. Some days you seem to like one food and then the next day  you seem to not care for it. I try to give you an egg in the morning and then when Nana and Papa are here you strictly eat baby food. When I am home I feed you strawberries, blueberries, or bites of whatever we are eating.
  • You still only have 2 bottom teeth
  •  Diaper- size 3 pampers
  • Clothes- 9-12 month. Sleepers: 12 months
  •  You looooove crawling up the stairs. It is your absolute favorite. You always want to carry something up the stairs too. It can be anything just as long as you place it from one step to the next.
  • You love getting down off the couch yourself. You will flip over to your tummy and slide off.
  • You love watching Crawford. Whatever he is doing you want to do. He will play so rough with you and knock you down and you don't seem to mind at all.
  •  You can wave and give a high five
  •  Daddy likes to tell you to put your hands up and you will raise both hands in the air.
  •  You give the best open mouth kisses!
  • You love going on a wagon ride
  •  You love being outside and you like to bear crawl around
  •  You hum when  you are eating something you really like just like your brother!
  • You love your walker toys. You love to stroll around and push them everywhere.
  •  You just love to be standing in general. You just recently can go from sitting to standing all on your own!
  • You can drink out of a straw
  • Your snack preference would be a yogurt melt or those big long puffs that look like cheese puffs
  • You still say dadadada best but can mutter some other vowel constanant sounds.
  •  You love mommy. If I am in the room you whine, scream, cry until I pick you up. You could have been the most content baby but if I walk in from work or anywhere else you go nuts until I hold you. Then I have to continue holding you.
I just love watching you crawl up in my lap and suck your fingers and play with your ears. You will switch fingers and ears and go back and forth until you are almost asleep. You prefer to sleep on your tummy so you don't really like anyone to rock you to sleep. I love making you smile and laugh. Seeing your adorable little face each morning truly brightens my day. You are at the cutest age! I love dressing you and putting bows in your hair and carrying you around on my hip. You are my best little buddy and I can't believe you will be walking and off on your own before I know it. I am cherishing this time when you still want me to hold you and I love you with all my heart. We are so thankful for your great health and your infectious smile. We all love you so very much!

Disney-- Magic Kingdom Final Day

Our last day at Disney we spent at Magic Kingdom. Once again we were about and out the door by 6:15 and got there in time for Mickey and the gang to ride the steam train in and open the park. It is my absolute favorite part of Disney and it is so fun to be a part of the opening and get to walk the streets of Main street before the crowds pick up! I was glad Brad got to be here this morning since he stayed back with Sutton two days before when she had an upset tummy.

The three cousins were all in awe as Mickey rode in. The princesses were there too so Hope was in heaven.

We headed straight to Buzz while Brad got us coffees from Starbucks (who know a starbucks Venti drink is considered a snack--win for the Redds). Bobby, Amy, and Brad rode space mountain next and I stayed back with Sutton. Nana and Papa took the boys on the race cars but after the boys fought over who was riding with Papa Craw bailed...wah wah wah

After the group got back together we made our way to the Barnstormer (which we had tried to ride two previous times...it was closed down both times). So we got on and Craw is in the front and I am by myself while Amy stood back with Hope and Sutton. Well we turn the first corner and bam the ride stops. Sooo we had to wait for the fire department (who works off the grounds) to get to the magic kingdom to get us off the ride. They brought us water bottles and gave us an extra fast pass.

I know Sutton won't ever remember this trip but she was such a trooper and did so well the whole week!

Another favorite ride this day was the Magic Carpet ride. We rode it several times.

After riding that the adults split up to ride a ride while Nana and Papa kept the kids. Brad and I chose Splash Mountain (which was my favorite ride at Disney as a kid! It did not disappoint! We loved it and I wish Craw would have ridden it with us.

Then we headed to Tom Sawyer's treehouse which the kids just loved so they walked through it twice.

Nana and Papa were just the sweetest. They helped so much with the kids!

We also did Pirates of the Caribbean and the boat ride with the hilarious narrators. The kids had been begging all day to ride the People Mover. We had lunch and got stuck behind a parade before making our way to the People Mover. They just loved it!

Sutton agreed it was fun!

Craw's last ride on the monorail. He just loved it

Craw loved a good caramel macchiato

We put them in it together thinking they would make the kids split up but they didn't say a word and the kids thought it was the coolest thing!

We picked out our final souvenier back at our hotel. A magic Kingdom coffee mug. We hugged Papa goodbye while the rest of the group spent the afternoon at magic kingdom. We decided to hop on the rode to see how far we could make it. The kids were tired and were both asleep within minutes of leaving the park.

We had the greatest week ever! I can't wait to go back when Sutton is older and is in awe of all the princesses. I hope we can go at a less crowded time so we can stop and take in all the magical moments Disney has to offer. It is my favorite vacation for the family and there is just nothing like it. I love all the memories we made! Nana and Papa are just the sweetest and most selfless people and they do so much for our family. We are so glad that they are healthy and able to take us on amazing vacations. We are forever grateful!

Disney World- Epcot

Thursday was Epcot day. We had reservations at Akerhus inside Epcot before the park opened. We were told that the monorail wouldn't be running that early so we had to drive. (however the monorail was running and the kids would have loved the 10 mile monorail run). We were let in the park right at 8am and we headed straight to breakfast with the princesses. We were greeted as "Welcome Royal Family" and then we were escorted to a meeting area with Belle. Hope was in the awe and the boys didn't know what to do. They all posed with Belle and then we headed to our table. We were able to go to a buffet with fruit, bread, muffins, etc and then we were served a family style platter with all our breakfast favorites. Sutton was still a little off from the day before with her eating. The kids all ate and Hope, Sutton, and I paraded around the restaurant behind all the princesses. After that all the princesses visited our table one by one. We met Cinderella, then Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Ariel. Sleeping Beauty was the sweetest. Hope just ate it up! We finished right at 9 and knew we had to head straight to test track before the lines got too long. When we walked up the line already said 45 minutes (whhaat the park had only just opened). We ended up doing a rider swap so someone could stay back with Sutton. It still probably took an entire hour. However, it was totally worth it! The kids got to design a race car on a computer. Then your car was put to test against all the other cars in your big race car. It's tested on power, efficiency etc. Craw's one the first test and he was so excited. It did several tests where the race car would take off and then slam on the brakes. Craw just loved it. They had all these interactive games in the room once the ride let out. It was great. We then headed to soarin for our fast passes. Again, someone had to wait with Sutton. We sent all the others and Brad, Craw, and I waited until they finished before using our fast passes. At this point, the park was slammmed. We didn't really know what to do before our next fast pass because most rides already had 45 minute waits and the kids were getting tired from the long week. We headed over to Nemo and luckily only 30 minutes. We all rode Nemo and then headed to turtle talk with Crush. The kids had a ball watching the aquarium before we were allowed in to turtle talk. We then headed to Spaceship Earth. Everyone enjoyed planning their future in the Jetson like production. We had late lunch reservations and started making our way to the world showcase. Craw and Carter passed out on the way there. We all got seated and started watching the show while Craw and Carter slept right through it. Craw eventually woke up and ate all his food (which is great for this picky guy.) At this point Craw was exhausted and just wanted to go home and play in the water park. We decided to split up. Brad, Papa, Craw, Sutton and I headed home while the rest stayed at the park. Craw passes by a miniature train display and he was in heaven. We didn't think we were going to leave. Then I told Craw I would take the monorail home with him. It broke right when we got there. Luckily, Brad and papa had not left year so we headed home with them. Once we got back to the hotel Craw wanted to go swim. We decided to go check out the Grand Floridian (since the big pool at the Polynesian wasn't complete yet). Craw made friends at the beach of the Grand Floridian and had a ball playing in the sand. Once Hope and Carter got back to our hotel we headed there so they could all swim together. They found life jackets and the kids went crazy jumping off the side and swimming all over the pool. They swam until it was dark out. Then we got a snack and watched the fireworks from our hotel before calling it a night.
