LASIK Update

Two weeks ago, Christen got LASIK. Her eyes are now better than ever. No more hunky glasses or nights of falling asleep with her contacts in (how annoying the next day when you wake up with dry, blurry vision). She couldn't be happier with her decision to get the procedure done.
We are now looking forward to our ski trip to Colorado next week (hope there is still some snow out there). Neither one of us has been and we are very excited. There are 9 of us going. Should be a fun time. We will hopefully have some great pics that we can post when we get back so until then...

Upcoming Surgery

Christen is scheduled for Lasik surgery next Friday, March 12. She is very excited about the fact that she will never have to wear contacts ever again. Brad is jealous...maybe in 2011 Brad. Our neighborhood is having a Chili Cook-Off next Saturday, the 13th. We hope Christen is well enough to attend. Sounds like it's gonna be a good time...oh yeah, did I mention, it's also doubling as a St. Patty's Day party. Could be a late night, like the Toast the Tree party (our annual neighborhood Christmas party). Check back after next weekend to see how the surgery and party went. And who knows? We may even have pictures posted of Christen passed out after surgery :)
