Disney World Day 1

We decided to leave Saturday at 4 am. We thought the kid would sleep for awhile and it would get us a good day down the road. Craw was so excited the night before we left. We put him in his Mickey jammies and he just told me how excited he was. Around 4 we put both kids in the car. Craw talked for a few minutes and we heard Sutton sucking on her fingers and then they were both out until we had to wake them up in Savannah. We got gas and chick-fil-a and kept driving.

While filling up for gas we told craw we were halfway there and he was pumped!

The second part of the drive was not as easy. The roadwork on 95 in Florida was pretty terrible. The kids were getting restless but we made it around 2. We were going to stop at this outlet mall but there was not one single parking spot so we headed to our hotel. The first two nights were stayed at a Clarion Maingate to save some money before moving hotels to the Polynesian. We didn't know what to do that first afternoon so we headed to Downtown Disney where we had dinner reservations at T-Rex.

They seated us in the glacier room. The place was a sight. It was soo cool and I can imagine us making this a ritual to stop here. They have a metor shower in the restaurant every 15 minutes and it is loud and something was always going on . We loved it!

It was so exciting getting there and having Craw experience everything. He saw this dinosaur sovenier cup and it came with an ICEE in it and he just had to have it.

After eating there was this whole area filled with sand and brushes to dig for fossils. Craw was just in heaven and had a ball digging around.

We knew we needed to head home early since we would be up bright and early for a day at MK. Craw just HAD to get in the pool. This pool was not heated and was quite chilly.

Oh and after dinner we stopped by this lego store. They were letting kids build lego cars and then race them down the track. This is RIGHT up Craw's alley. He loves to race anything and he is so competitive so he couldn't wait.

She would race like 6 cars at a time and all this kids would run to the other end to see who's car won.
Well Craw's car won and he was just over the moon. He was jumping up and down and wanted to keep racing.

Above he is waiting to see if his car won.

Brad has a real obsession with milkshakes--chocolate ones. So when he knew he could get a ghiradelli milkshake made with who knows how many different types of chocolate he was in. It was a $9 milkshake and it wasn't my favorite but he loved it!

Below they are building his lego car

I love this picture...He just loves to win and when he does it makes his whole day. He was sooo proud of his car.
I was so excited to take a vacation with our family. We were all so excited to be in Orlando
Sweet little Sutton did so well. She napped when she could and behaved so well on our trip.

We decided to add one day to our magic your way tickets since we got down there a day ahead of brad's parents and brother. Craw was so pumped to scan his magic band for the first time. For $33 more the Redds got a whole extra day at MK.

The first day was a long one...We went to sleep by 8 and were ready for our first day at the park!
