2nd Baby Shower/Wedding/Halloween

We had such a busy and fun weekend. We started out the weekend at Nick and Ashley's rehearsal dinner at Ruth Chris and had a great time catching up with friends and celebrating this exciting time in their lives.. Brad was a groomsmen and gave his heartfelt speech and we enjoyed listening to all the well wishes to one of our favorite Greenville couples! The Brown's had a noon wedding so it was an early day for us. I left for the gym around 8 and Brad left for pictures around 9. I met him at the church around noon and joined the other girls. Here is the happy couple after officially tying the knot!

Look at my cute husband just cheesing up there...mad because he secretly was stuck on a tiny little step for the ceremony jk!

So Brad was just thrilllled to find out that he would be escorting Nolan Ryan's daughter down the aisle...if only Nolan would have made an appearance but he was cheering on his Texas Rangers after making it to the World Series for the first time...so this is Brad's claim to fame from the wedding weekend!

Lauren was such a great friend keeping her prego friend entertained. The reception was at Larkins and it was a great afternoon of catching up with everyone while the boys watched the Clemson game at the reception. We all headed to Wild Wings after the wedding to watch the Georgia game (at least that's what I was doing) and continuing the celebration!

Heels two days in a row=rough but luckily the hubs was sweet and would sit down with me whenever I needed him to!

Happy Halloween!!!! So Halloween was the day of my second baby shower that Cathleen and Janet hosted for me at Janet's house. Below are some pictures after the shower when we all went out and watched what is like a tailgate fest around the neighborhood. Apparently no one stays inside and if you do kids don't come to your house. So you bring you candy and tailgating chairs to the end of your driveway and all the parents and kids parade through the neighborhood most with rolling coolers and beers....who knew people drank while trick or treating with their kids....it was hilarious! Isn't my little Halloween decoration adorable? I got him at the apple festival and just had to have him. The blue pumpkin is a shout out to Crawford!

Lauren and Tyler brought Sadie over and hung out for the eventful trick or treat fest as well! Next year they better be ready to buckle up and come around the hood with us and Crawford!

So happy that sissy decided to stay for one last evening after throwing an amazing shower!

Happy halloween from the Redd's!

Now onto the shower which occurred earlier in the day. Cathleen made this adorable diaper cake that will make another appearance in the hospital for Crawford's arrival!

Janet's completely remodeled home all ready for my shower. She worked sooo hard to get her house completely perfect for her friends and my friends to visit us at the shower. It looks amazing!

These are the cake squares that Martha Taylor made. This is the same lady who made my wedding cake so it was neat to have her be there to make my adorable baby shower cake as well. It sure was cute and you know me the chocolate was fab!

The table set up was soo cute. Cathleen has spongue painted pumpkins on the white tablecloth. She also painted 3 pumpkins blue and covered them in glitter and then carved one pumpkin and placed the roses in it. Janet made chicken salad, rotel cheese dip, nuts, grapes, and Tanner's big orange punch (this is a long time Greenville favorite) They made the day so special and it was so great having friends stop by and congratulate me and I really felt so loved and special. The day couldn't have been more perfect. Thanks to Janet and Cathleen for the thoughtful and very generous shower!

Me and the MIL...she is so good to me and treats me like her own daughter. Crawford is going to be one loved and spoiled little grand baby!

Alright so here I am at 34 weeks exactly...only 2 more weeks till I hit the full term mark!

Cathleen helped me remember all of the sweet gifts and I was just overjoyed with all of the wonderful gifts! Here is a little outfit and baby hooded towel.

I wish I was talented enough to wrap a gift this cute!

I mean this is the world's largest music playing octopus! This is from Brad's mom's best friend Delane (they have been friends since they were 10 and still talk every single day!)

The girls from worked all came by and I am so sad I didn't get a picture with the whole group...but I had to give a shout out to Emma (aka the blog stalker!) She made this adorable Halloween diaper cake that was the perfect deocrating piece for the shower. I am so lucky to have so many of my work friends be so supportive and excited about baby Crawford!
Crawford's Christmas bib and darling blue sleeper. I can't wait to dress him in all these adorable outfits!

Joretta and fam got us our high chair..and even though he won't use it for a little while I am so grateful to have our space saver high chair!

Carol made us some wonderful little bibs and burp cloths. This one says "I ain't lion..Crawford's cute" She also helped with the shower curtain and all of the cute things that sissy has made for me. She also made all of my basket liners for Crawford's books and toys so I am very thankful for her generosity!

Swaddle blankets and rattles...

This was a bagful of sports onesies, bibs, and hats...Brad's heaven!

this is our bottle dryer that looks like a pad of grass...they really have some creative baby gifts out there!

I am opening the shower curtain that sissy made for Crawford's little bathroom!

His bathroom is green, blue, and white and is an alligator pottery barn theme...soo cute!
Again, I just feel so grateful and loved and going back through his wonderful gifts today made me realize how lucky we are. We spent the afternoon putting away all of his new gifts! He could come join us in a couple of weeks although I will not hold my breath...I think he's planning to cook in there for a good 6 more weeks...we shall see!!!!
